I don't have anykids myself yet. but once my nephew told me the same. I think in the kids language that means he is upset because you didn't let him/her do the thing he wants.
Awwww. That sucks. I'm sorry. But, she is a ginger. You might have to get used to it... You're my friend and I love you, does that help? Didn't think so. Better luck tomorrow!!!
Kristin, if I were anywhere near you, I'd offer a shoulder. If I had a dollar for everytime my kids said something that made me cry I'd be able to buy a new Dodge pick-up truck by now and pay cash!
I was tucking in my little girl one night and we were having what I thought was a good heart-to-heart. Then she said, "Mama, I love you and I like what you say, but your breath smells like catpoop!" I didn't know whether to laugh or cry!!!!! :oO
Sorry to hear about all the e-mails from Flylady. That must be a new feature. Her 15 minute zone clean-ups are such a GREAT idea!! I don't have a whole day, or even hours to clean my entire house. However, if I divide it up into zones and spend 15 minutes (set a timer & see how far you can get before it goes off) on one zone a day- it's kinda fun and it really works. Helped this mother of 4 keep her sanity. :o)
In that picture she totally looks like you! Whatever, she's almost 4. They say things like that and never mean it. I said things like that to get a rise out of my mom. Josh said to me for the first time as he spit out the cilantro at the dinner table, "I don't like this. It's a little icky Mommy" That's the first of I'm sure many things to come.
Savannah's probably upset about what you said about Summer in your last post.
No need to feel like a big loser for crying, just chalk it up to an estrogen backlog. I agree with Nicki... Sav looks like you in that shot; and I always thought she took after Danno.
Don't let it get you down just 2 weeks ago my 2 y/o told me that he didn't love me anymore either. I feel that he is no longer innocent. We are fighting fair now
The joys of motherhood huh?! Virginia always says that I don't love her when I get angry with her and that I don't want her for a daughter. Where she gets that from, I don't know, but it always breaks my heart that she could think that. Maybe she has perfected the guilt trip already at 6! Don't let it get you down, she has probally already forgotten that she has said it. But really, sometimes it is nice to have a good cry........
believe it or not....even at Reds age, they are divas in training. Just hang in there..it will get worse!!! LoL. And you will get a tougher skin! God bless you Sweety!
Awww your first kid diss! Treasure these moments because they DO get worse. But you get numb to it and realize they don't mean it and 5 minutes later they love you again. All part of the parenting cycle, hun. Hang in there.
Newsflash - they don't have to be girls to be BITCHES. I taught Evan (when he used to watch Caillou and give me the "I don't like you anymore. you're not my friend") to say instead "I really love you; I just don't have to like you right now". Now he probably flips me the bird behind his bedroom door after I give him crap...
I feel ya! ACE pulled the "I don't love you card" but it was met with extreme consequences and was quick to go away. Now he says, "I want Daddy!" when Daddy is MIA. The only comfort is he does the same to Robert if I'm MIA. It's just his way of saying, I want someone who might give me my way and not you because you aren't a push over.
The line in the sand can't be ignored. Some days I hate being the parent, even more lately because I'm the only parent 80% of the time. When I'm really down, I compliment the heck out of the kids and GUESS What??? They do it right back! My favorite thing right now - Champ says "welcome" instead of thank you. It makes me smile every time! That and his YEP! I hope he never learns yes. It's so cute.

Better life - thanks for stopping by. I'm sure you're right. It WAS right after she asked me for candy. Hmmmm....
Jes - Thanks. That does make it a little better.
Mike and Nicki - I'm beginning to think she looks alot like me now too. Poor kid.
Kristi - I guess they all try it. Little boogers.
Dianne - Oh the emotional rollercoaster of a girl. I have so much to look forward too!
Catch - I DO need a thicker skin. It gets worse??
Christina - Great. Just great.
