What have I been doing?

Crying

Pulling hair

"Eat your breakfast!!"

Whining

Oversleeping

"Get your shoes on, we're late!"

"Hold still while I brush your hair!!"

Kicking of the little brother.

Excited smiles.

Nervous laughs.

Scared little eyes.

Crying....lots of crying.

Yep....my baby is going to kindergarten.

Did I mention the crying was all me?

I don't know what's worse, knowing that Red is getting so much older or knowing that I can clearly remember how quickly time has moved since she was born... that makes me feel older!

Josh started preschool (in theory) a few weeks ago too. When he gets back to Japan, we'll send him off for his real 1st day. In his absense, I've been keeping up with the teachers, but I'm optimistically awaiting taking him in that first day...

My younger daughter just sent her oldest to kindergarten. The tears were hers. Then I just realized that my oldest grandchild is now in 6th grade. I'm afraid to blink because she be grown if I do.

I already have one who is a senior in high school.

The time flies by like crazy.
