Sad to say....

Someone didn't make it, just as I feared. Our beloved Steve Buscemi has passed away. This was several days ago. The kids have not noticed and did not ask about him even once. Weird. I was all ready to sneak off to Petco in the night on a little covert operation to find a body double. But no need. Hmmm.... It's ok, Steve. I will mourn your memory if no one else will. I asked Dan, solemnly to dispose of his body. When he came back after a time, I said "Did he go peacefully the way of the toilet bowl?" Dan cocked his head in surprise, "Nah, I just shoved him down the garbage disposal."

Ew.

Does anyone else think, EW??

Poor, poor, Steve.

Poor Steve!

Maybe your hubster was trying to make the garbage disposal smell all fresh and pretty.

The garbage disposal?! Dan: you're a sick man.
Wow, Steve didn't last long...is that the norm?

Maybe he will arise as a new indestructible deamon and well, you remember those movies where the little lizard gets flushed and grows into a huge beast in the sewer..

May he not come back to haunt you for not going down in Davey Jones locker aka the toilet bowl...

Poor Steve. He was a good fishie.

For just a few cents more per day we would have sealed him in a plastic fishbowl and placed him in th evault of fishes with other fish notables like Elvis IV and Henry VIII.

Well, may he rest in peace... although, after 'Finding Nemo' most Dads know that all pipes lead to the sea and flush their dead fish down the porcelein expressway. If Steve was just pretending, he's certainly toast now...

On a more serious note, I hate losing pets- even fish- it just tears me up when the kids get sad over things like that.

Total EW. EW, Dan! OK, poor Steve. Moment of silence.

Catch - Nah...the cat is gone. But still...ew to that too!! HA HA!

Joys - I was the only one who was affected. I thought it was sad. Sniff....

Carolyn - His defense? I would never have done that to a hampster or any real pet. Ick.

Kelly - Some goldfish last a long long time. Some last only days. Steve did not have a strong enough will to live.

Jill and Pendullum - I think you guys are trying to freak me out!!

Carly and L- it is gross. I don't know why it is so much grosser than the toilet, but it is.

Dr John - Hmmm...I'll look into that once we get Steve Buscemi II

Trailady - I was worried that the kids would be really sad. They don't seem to care at all. Oh well.

Mimi - Our beloved fish that lasted just over a week. Hee hee.

Nicki (Mike?) - Ew sums it up. At least someone is mourning him. Thanks for your respects. :)
