Another birthday Hooplah!

Tomorrow is birthday celebration time with my in laws. The other ones. In order to maintain a fraction of sanity in all this birthdaying we choose to lump Red, Stinky and Dan's birthdays into one night with them. That is about all we can tolerate. Ronnie and Gloria love the kids but can only take so much of them. I told Dan to invite them over for CAKE, but no, he gets on the phone and tells them to come over for dinner. He even forgot to mention that it was for their birthdays, so I made him clarify that so that I wasn't stuck having them over twice. I sound horrible, but I can only take so much.
I am hoping they come through on the birthday gift that I shamelessly scouted out for the family. Knowing them, they forgot and will have gotten us yet another box of clothing from Khols that the kids can't wear.
So here I am sick and breathing through my eyeballs and whipping up yet another birthday dinner. Fancy it is not. I am making a big pot of our famous Chasen's Chili. And in order to avoid another Frankencake experience I am sticking to my tried and true Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie - Dan's favorite. The party is tomorrow. I'll let you know how it goes....cross your fingers for Disneyland!
