I'm alive!

It has been a rocky road these last few days. We FINALLY moved into our new house on Thursday. It is so beautiful! We love it so much. There was quite the fiasco moving in. When we came to do our final walkthrough on Wednesday the former "Good Ol Tom" now called "Bastard Tom" was drunk and angry. He was mad that we were there and mad that he had to move out. He tried to extort more money out of us to get him to leave, threatened to sue us and said the only way we were going to get him to leave was to call the sheriff to throw him out. The he said if we did that he would basically hurt me or the kids. The story goes on and on. I'll have to take the time to fill in the rest, but there are boxes and boxes to unload still. I better get on that.
For now, know that we are in our new house, Bastard Tom is gone and we are all well.

We are lucky that it has been low key since we moved in. When I have 2 seconds to myself, I'll try and tell the whole story. Ick.

Wow, that's really kinda scary!! Glad you are in your new home and things are going better. Having moved over 20 times, I know it's exhausting- especially with little ones in tow. Just take it one box at a time and soon you will be all moved in. :o)

Please do be careful about that Tom guy. These kind of people can be highly unpredictable. Did you tell the police that he threatened you & your kids? If not, definitely do- they will have that statement on record if anything bad ever does happen. I am hoping that he is a harmless drunk with a big mouth and nothing more.

Blessing to you & yours and upon your new home!!

We have not yet reported this to the police. Since he is leaving us alone, we figure maybe it is best to just let it go. We don't want to provoke him, ya know?
