I want my body back!

Our internet has been down for the last several days and it has just been fixed. I thought I was going to go crazy. Funny how attached we have become.
I am turning over a new leaf. I don't know how long it is going to last because I am naturally drawn to the lazy side of life. But I have decided to take being SAHM (stay at home mom) by storm. I feel as though my house is always a mess, my kids watch too much TV and I am tired of not losing mommy weight. So in the last 2 weeks I have set up household chore schedule, planning fun events for my kids (big or small) at least 3 days during the week and staying away from sweets. (See that picture, that was after I had my daughter and I thought I looked way out of shape. Bwahahahah! I would kill to look like that now!)
I'm breastfeeding, so it is hard to really diet, but I figure if I start there I might make SOME progress. I want to lose at least 25 lbs. My goal was 30, but magically I have already lost 5. Feel free to keep me accountable. I am hoping that by the time Santa comes, his belly will be the only one jiggling like a bowl full of jelly.
My house, my kds and ESPECIALLY my body will never be perfect, but at least I am making an effort for some improvements. With that said, I better go turn off the TV and play with my kids. I think we're gonna run in the sprinklers today. Have a good one!

Ah yes, I go through those stages. However, this most recent one has stuck. There is a mom here that I hang with. She has 2 kids 2years and 10 months (I think) anyway, she runs all the time. She's got the runners body too. She has been trying to recrute us to do the little 3K-5K on base that they have every once in a while. Anyway, I'm getting drawn in. I haven't lost all the belly flub yet but I'm on my way! The Japanese really put me to shame. Sometimes I see 60-70 year old men jogging at 5:00AM! I usually will always off the SAHM wagon for a while for one reason or another. A lot of the time because I miss being able to just go into Target and shop till my hearts content. :)

Taking the little trixters outside is the best plan of getting all their wiggles out & getting play time. After all there is only so much play-doh and colors I can take before I need out! :)

I'll join you, Chippy! (As I finish off my yogourt lunch). I know what you mean, though. I have this picture from when Evan was only a few weeks old and I looked amazing (of course, only 21 years old, and was in MUCH better shape pre-pregnancy since I had just finished dancing). I only want to lose about 10lbs but I want to trim up the belly. Good luck with your's! (And wish me luck on mine)

Ooh, a schedule. That is a good idea.

Best wishes on the weight loss. It's a lot of work. But if you can raise three kids, you can do it.

Kelly - 10lbs? That's nothing. You look fabulous! You can do it.

Carolyn - the schedule is working out great. I have the weekends off, other than cooking and tidying. My house feels clean - very bizarre. HA!
