Good news??

Went to see the midwife AGAIN today. I'm liking her less and less. Her torture tactics are starting to get to me. She stretched me to 3cm. OUCH. And I have to go back tomorrow. I have to keep reminding myself that she is doing me a favor trying to get me "inducable" for this weekend. Frankly, at this point I just want to kick her. But that goes for just about anybody. Dan owes me something very large and sparkly. Poophead.

I think pregnant women are beautiful. I like your pic.

"Poophead" - that's funny.

To answer your question about son's age, he is three. He has PDD-NOS, which is on the autism spectrum.

I have him on a gluten and casein free diet, which seems to help immensely.

I hope your little one comes out Saturday. When you get a chance, post pics!

Evan was born 10 days late - and only 10 days because I got induced. I would never want to be induced again - it was horrible! So hopefully your little one arrives very VERY soon.
PS - the geekier version of Mr. & Mrs. Smith (aka my parents) say HI!

Thanks! You guys are all great. I had to go to the hospital today for some tests - but we are all fine. Dan flew home - he was pretty anxious, so we are praying for labor today through Saturday. I'll keep posting as long as I can!

Carolyn - I just read an article about how a gluten free diet can do wonders for autistic children. I have a friend who's 3 year old son was just diagnosed. I'll tell her about that. Best of luck to you!

What do you mean 'inducable'? Is she going to induce you this weekend or is she sweeping your membranes as a means to try and get things going?
