Ah to be young...

Happy Birthday to me. I am officially 21 again tomorrow. This is my 3rd year in a row as a 21 year old. It's the age that I have chosen, and I like it. I've got a pretty good day planned - we are going to Disneyland. My parents, kids and sister in law, Tiffany are headed up to celebrate with Mickey and the gang. I may not be able to ride the rollercoasters, but I don't care. I ride all the kiddie rides and have a great time. My kids love it. Savannah asked me what kind of cake I want, and of course I suggested chocolate. She told me no. I was going to have a red cake with red candles. Sounds interesting. I'm glad that I have a say in it. Someone sent me a mysterious box of Purdy's chocolates in the mail yesterday. No one is taking credit. Any takers?

Happy 21st birthday- AGAIN! (Actually, you will LOVE your 30's. I wouldn't go back to 21 if I could. I'm much more self-assured and confident now. :o) Hope your birthday wish comes true!!!

I joke, but I am truly happier now than when I was 21 as well. The BIG 3-0 is a little to close for comfort, but I love my life. You really do get more self-assured as you grow older.

When I turned 40 my eyes came wide open. At 50, things are clearer than ever, life is better than ever, and my confidence is stronger than ever.

I think only Jesus can make our lives improve in this way.

We'd be stupid to subject all things to whether or not our bodies are as perfect as when we were younger.
