Vices

Everyone has vices, right? As for myself, I have many shameful ones and I plan to share them with you. I am just one of those people who seems to like all things that are bad for you and abhore all things that are good - like exercise and housecleaning.
#1 Junk food. I hate to eat healthy and rarely do. I could pretty much live on hostess cupcakes and never want for anything again. The ONLY reason I attempt to eat anything with a remote amount of nutritional value is because I am premanently pregnant and have to set an example to the kids that I already have. Favorites include, all forms of chocolate, potato chips, popcorn, and anything else sweet. Mmmm...a box of See's (Or Purdy's for when my Canadian friends have mercy on me and send me some) those last about a day. I love the chocolate souffle from California Pizza Kitchen. If it was possible to make love to a chocolatey dessert, this would be the one. At least for tonight. The funny thing is, I am not a very big eater, but I could eat ANYONE under the table when it comes to anything chocolate covered - and it would surely make everyone watching sick.
#2 Coffee. You would think this goes along with junk food, but it is a seperate love all on its own. I am addicted to Starbucks and am not at all ashamed to pay over $3 for a hot drink. My husband thinks I am insane and fears looking at our bank statement to see how many times I have gone there this month. You'd think being permanently pregnant would slow me down, but I figure if this baby is ever gonna keep up, he better get a caffeine kick now.
#3 Television. I am not ashamed to say this either. I watch it way too much and so do my children. I am sure one of these days I will get on and blog about how I think TV is a miracle and I don't care that my children watch it. Amen. I particularly am addicted to the WB network. I am slightly embarrassed to admit that I watch almost everything they produce. Gilmore Girls is a favorite, but most shameful is probably 7th Heaven or One Tree Hill. I saw every episode ever made of Dawson's Creek.
#4 Country music. Most of you do not understand this whatsoever. I was exposed to it in High School and hooked ever since. When it first started, I would only listen when I was alone in my car and then turn the station before I got out so that no one would ever know. This lasted about a year. My family is ashamed of me and nearly disowned me when they discovered my secret.
Now these are a few of my vices. Please, be brave and feel free to leave your comments and dare to share with me a few of your own. The juicier the better. I need some scandal in my life, after all, Desperate Housewives has been in reruns for weeks...

You kiddin'?! Desperate Housewives in reruns?! What gives? I can't think of any real vices except for chocolate or anything with sugar. Ha! Over here on base they have a starbucks and it's tax free hoohoo hoo ha! (That's my evil laugh) They also have cinabun can you believe it? I haven't gone yet in the 3 months that I've been here but, it's only a matter of time. We are in the second show of the second season here for desperate housewives. I'm waiting for something new.
Oh yeah, Top Ramen is my vice right now. You may scoff at this one but here they have a Ramen restaurant right outside of base. Kim Chi Ramen. Oh mu Gosh I could eat that and a platter of Gyoza (potstickers) everyday! Till I just turned into a big grease ball.

Country music as a vice... that's hysterical. And sure they're vices, but they're relatively harmless ones. You've got room for some real damage in there. Work it!

True, I could have a lot worse vices. I guess I kept hoping others would come on and confess something juicy so I could gossip about them. I'm mean like that.

That's a vice of it's own!

Kelly -
That is something that might ACTUALLY work!
