Ginger Kids

Ok, so my friend, Kelly, started a blog and it has become a great source of entertainment to me over the last few days. It looked interesting and so I decided to give it a whirl. Chances are I am going to get bored and only do this a few times. That, or my kids will revolt and take over the blog for their own evil intentions and all you will read of are the glories of Disney Princesses and Boobah. So beware.
So I named my blog GingersMom. What is that all about? My kids are "Gingers". We don't know where they came from or why they have the dreaded "gingervitis" but they do. Still, what does this mean? Well, my brother, Kevin, told me about an episode of Southpark - yes - Southpark where they made fun of redheads:
Cartman suffers from a mysterious and sudden on-set of the disease, Gingervitus. Sick and tired of being ripped-on because he now has red hair, light skin and freckles, he rallies all ginger kids everywhere to fight against discrimination.
So that is where I get GingersMom from. My kids are Gingers. One more than the other. Although I truly believe that Dan's Mexican roots will arise in our third child and he will pop out a darkie. Only time will tell, but if this happens I am committed to naming him Jose.
So feel free to check in and peruse the inner workings of my mind from time to time. Please leave your comments, as I will be awaiting them quite anxiously.

Yeah, I got a comment. I'm the coolest!
If I hadn't watched Savannah come out of me with my own 2 eyes I really would have wondered. I think my mother in law DOES wonder sometimes.

Love this! Keep it up. It's a great way to vent to if you need to. Mike and I have been totally into ours lately. Mike bought that camera and has been going a little crazy. I'm so glad that I heard from you and the munchkins look gorgeous!
